- Work collaboratively with the branch Civil Intake team to provide confidential and accurate administrative support including responding to client phone and email enquiries, data entry, filing, photocopying, processing forms, managing correspondence, and record keeping.
- Accurate data entry to record enquiry outcomes, mediation statistics, and completion of HR and financial forms including processing of casual staff pays.
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner to provide information about the operations of the civil services provided by the Dispute Resolution Branch to the public and others including people from diverse backgrounds and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Maintain and operate computer-based word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and desk top publishing.
- Assist in the organisation of mediations, facilitations, meetings, and special events as required.
- Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in delivering support and services to staff and clients.
- Other appropriate administrative tasks as allocated.
