About the Role
This is a unique role focused on providing financial outreach and team support - which means proactively bringing accounts administration services to the teams that need it. Whilst this reputable non-profit organisation does have an established finance team, this position is one of a kind in that you will be working collaboratively with stakeholders out in various teams to proactively offer support with accounts activities, and to provide help / training around finance processes to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position will require someone who naturally enjoys engaging and interacting with others and who has a positive and helpful disposition, as building effective relationships will be essential to your long term success in this role.
- Proactively engage with various teams to offer support with Finance Administration tasks
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide help / training around finance processes and requirements
- Accurately process debit and credit card transactions
- Process and reconcile petty cash transactions
- Resolve queries in relation to debit / credit cards and petty cash transactions
- Follow up on missing documentation or invoices
- Ensure purchase invoices are entered accurately and on time
- Provide support with other Finance Administration tasks as required
- You will need to demonstrate some accounts experience - either in a dedicated finance position or perhaps an administration role that included invoice processing
- Outgoing and engaging personality - this position will require you to positively interact and build relationships with all areas of the business to provide support with Finance Administration tasks
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to help organise others to meet their deadlines
- Someone who is proactive and self-motivated, this is a new role that will require you to make it your own and work collaboratively with stakeholders to help create some structure
- A positive and flexible attitude, and genuine desire to help others
