MidCoast Assist is an aged care and disability support service operated by MidCoast Council. Our team of friendly professionals have been providing a wide range of support services to the local community for over 20 years.
We are a registered provider of aged care services through the Department of Health and a registered provider of disability supports through the NDIS. We offer support for older people, their carers and those living with disability across the MidCoast Region.

The role and you
Business Support Officers (BSOs) work within our Social and Community Engagement Team who provide a wide range of supports to people living with a disability. The supports we provide include respite, day programs, individual supports, supported independent living and one-off events. The BSOs provide administrative support including rostering, liaising with participants and the creation and maintenance of participant records.

The successful applicant will have:
A commitment to person-centred service delivery
Cert III or above qualifications in disability, community services, business administration or a related field
A record of performance in a similar role
Highly developed communication skills

- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including: Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
The package: Commencing salary in the range of $56,300 to $60,580 depending on skills and experience plus superannuation.
Tenure: Full-time, a part-time work arrangement may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
