Overview: This role Reporting to the Senior Executive Support Officer, will provide internal customer support across the organisation in relation to printing, scanning, ordering of stationery and meeting room management along with providing administrative support. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide caretaking/housekeeping function (including beginning of day and end of day room set ups, opening of shutters, distribution of deliveries and undertake daily refresh of kitchens and general housekeeping duties).
- Undertake set up of Committee and Panel meetings/briefing sessions and/or event set ups (including attendance at meetings and/or events to provide support (as required).
- Assist with ordering of catering, stationery and/or other goods
(as required). - Provide back-up chauffeur service to the Executive team members and undertake regular deliveries (as required).
- Assist the Executive team in carrying out ceremonial functions at official meetings and events hosted by the business.
- Undertake various administrative functions including printing (e.g. Agendas for Executive and Panel meetings), delivery of business papers, scanning of documents, registration of documents in HPE, stocktake of stationery and paper, envelopes etc.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties (as required).
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously.
- Ability to work outside of core business hours (as required).
- Previous experience working in Local or State Government.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
- Certificate in First Aid or willingness to obtain First Aid Certificate.
- Experience as a Fire Warden or willingness to undertake Fire Warden Training.
- Demonstrated time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Must have a minimum two COVID vaccinations
- Must be willing to complete a pre-employment medical test and demonstrate ability to lift items of over 20kgs including the moving of furniture for Council meeting set ups
- Must have a C class drivers licence and be willing to drive the Council vehicle from site to site when required.
- Willing to work on site 5 days per week - No WFH.
