About your new role
As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support to ensure the business unit operates efficiently and effectively in achieving its objectives.
Start: ASAP
End Date: 30/9/24
Rate: $47.50 P/H + Super
Hours: 35 hours p/w
Location: Parramatta - Hybrid role -2x days in the Office
Responsibilities include:
- Handle business information accurately and ensure it is stored correctly and easily accessible, following standards and guidelines.
- Use technology like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Adobe to create documents and presentation materials for the business unit.
- Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and suggest improvements.
- Oversee the unit's filing systems, ensuring information is stored, retrieved, and tracked accurately and securely, using tools like TRIM.
- Build relationships with other business areas to arrange and prepare for meetings, and manage the flow of business information and activities.
- Assist the Executive Director, Manager Operations, and other team members to ensure the Executive Office runs efficiently.
What you will need to succeed
- Experience in the use of TRIM and Finance system such as SAP/MyWorkZone
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Being able to manage various information requests, tasks, and competing deadlines in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders, understanding their interests and connections to relevant projects or programs.
