What you’ll be doing
Working across two departments, the Business Support Officer provides a high level of administrative and project support to the Senior Manager - Community Engagement & Experience and Senior Manager Information, Technology & Governance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to carry out a variety of work while contributing positively to the Playford community.
Here's what’s else will be on your agenda:
- Managing correspondence, prioritisation of meetings and tasks to facilitate smooth operations of the Senior Managers.
- Coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms and managing records.
- Assisting internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, mail and other communication platforms.
- Preparing presentations and undertaking project work.
- Managing purchasing orders, invoicing, credit card reconciliations and receipting.
- Working in close collaboration with the wider team to ensure that requests, enquiries, and tasks are actioned in a timely manner.

You are someone with a love for supporting others to work effectively and efficiently in their roles, through the provision of high-level administrative support. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
While qualifications in Business or Administration are desirable, we welcome applicants with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
