Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team. As the Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our enterprise. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and assisting with financial operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and work alongside passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements,
and maintaining records. - Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Assist with financial operations including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of projects and initiatives.
- Provide general support to the management team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with Indigenous culture and communities.
Employment terms:
- This role is a two-year contract subject to a six-month probation period.
- This role is a 1 FTE position (5 days pw).
- Housing and Relocation Allowance provided.
- Plus superannuation as per statutory requirements.
