Marine Construction Operations Facility

This is not a FIFO position
Maritime Constructions is a marine contractor, uniquely capable of self-performing the full spectrum of specialised engineering disciplines to deliver complex marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning. Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, underwater pipelines, in Australia and internationally.
We have a number of large projects on the go with plenty more in the pipeline. This position will be based at our North Arm (Gillman) Operations Facility. Besides the operation of a 70T crawler crane and franna crane, you will also be expected to perform other tasks in the yard as directed.
Safety is our first priority and the cornerstone of our operations.
This is a casual position but you can expect to work 38 hours per week. Occasional overtime maybe available. For the right person, permanency will be considered.
To be the successful candidate you:
- Must have High Risk Ticket with min C1 Crane and dogging/rigging
- Must have a HR truck licence
- Must have Working at Heights
- Must have a Construction White Card
- Must hold a current Drivers Licence
- Must have a commitment to zero harm in the workplace and act in a safe manner at all times
- Must pass a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
- Must be willing to undertake yard work, help keep the yard tidy and undertake maintenance.
