Cabinet Maker/Furniture Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Furniture Repair Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including regluing dining chairs with new dowels, repairing broken legs, performing general repairs on various types of furniture, and making new parts as required. Experience with Mid-century furniture is highly desired. You will also be required to do deliveries a couple of days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regluing dining chairs with new dowels
• Repairing broken legs and other structural issues
• Performing general repairs on all types of furniture pieces
• Making new parts as required for restoration projects
• Demonstrating good knowledge of different glues, joints, and techniques
• Conducting pickups and deliveries a couple of days a week

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cabinet-making and furniture repair
• Experience with Mid-century furniture is highly desired
• Proficiency in using various glues, joints, and repair techniques
• Ability to perform pickups and deliveries as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
