About the role
The program provides you with real-world engineering experience while you combine full-time study with paid part-time work.
Work with our experts who will share their incredible depth of engineering talent and knowledge as you study and work towards your career goals. The program includes the rotation between areas providing the opportunity to specialise in investigations, design, project management, construction and maintenance, asset management, operations and more.
Throughout the cadetship, you will have the ability to recommend and implement your own ideas to improve the quality of life for our community.

About you
You will be passionate about challenging yourself and be a 1st or 2nd year student as well as:
- Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment
- A genuine commitment to customer service, continuous improvement and maintaining a high level of privacy and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
The cadet program includes a commitment to a period of work after graduation equal to the time served as an undergraduate cadet with council.
