Café All Rounder

We are seeking positive, hard-working Café All Rounder to join our onsite Café at John Flynn Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.

The Opportunity

As a Café team member you will be joining a vibrant team preparing and serving coffee and other beverages as well as a small amount of food to a variety of customers.

In this role, you will:

• Work with a brilliant team of people who are focused on the best experience for customers
• Support other team members in taking order, making drinks, preparing food and providing timely customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness within the department in line with required food safety, infection control and hospital standards
• Provide the highest standards of quality and service to customer and patients

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

• Previous Barista experience in a cafe or hospital environment (preferred but not a must have)
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable but not essential)

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $25.73 - $28.12 + superannuation and applicable penalty rates, dependent on relevant experience and skills.

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
