The Role: As a Cafe Assistant Manager, you'll hold a pivotal position in ensuring the seamless operation of our West Pinjarra cafe. You will assist with day-to-day operations, coaching and inspiring the team, and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This full-time role offers a balanced schedule with one weekend day off per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cafe Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets
- Conduct staff training to ensure consistent service and adherence to policies
- Manage cafe inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards to meet customer expectations
Requirements:
- Previous hospitality management experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs and sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organisational abilities to manage operations effectively in a fast-paced environment
