SMALL, VERY BUSY CAFE IN ESSENDON IS SEEKING A CAFÉ CHEF/COOK
IMMEDIATE START
We are a small family run café in Essendon. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic café chef/cook to join our team.
About the Job:
- Ongoing permanent and ongoing part-time position working on a ‘set day’ roster.
- Small café serving breakfast and lunch service only.
- Easy menu serving café style food for eat-in or takeaway.
- Great workplace culture, friendly environment and terrific team.
About You:
- You will have a love of cooking with fresh quality food, have an open attitude, have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working in a café style environment, including food preparation, grill cooking, deep frying and general kitchen duties
- Be able to handle fast-paced environment, including MenuLog orders.
- Be reliable, punctual and hard-working.
- Have neat and clean presentation.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Have the right to work in Australia.
- Have extremely good attention to detail and be able to focus on details, such as quality control and presentation of all dishes being served to customers.
- Applicants must have a minimum of over 12 months experience in a fast-paced cafe environment.
