SalaryOur Company Marrickville Coffee Roasters runs two cafes in Marrickville, Side Story (313 Marrickville Road, Marrickville, NSW - 2204) and Basiq Café (106 Addison Road, Marrickville, NSW – 2204).
At Side Story, based in Marrickville, NSW, we are seeking an enthusiastic Cafe Manager on full-time basis to lead our team. We believe in creating experiences that resonate with our guests, and we're excited to welcome a new member to our leadership team who shares this vision! Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing daily cafe operations for both premises
• Collaborate with our talented chefs to plan creative menus, organize and execute catering.
• Managing staff schedules and training new employees.
• Organize special functions, ensuring each event is memorable and smoothly run.
• Inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Financial management including budgeting and cash handling.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service standards.
• May include taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting in order taking, ensuring a personalized customer experience.
• Upholding hygiene and safety standards.
Other Requirements:
• Experience: At least 2 years in a management role.
• Qualification: AQF Associate degree, Advance Diploma or Diploma.
• Language: Proficiency in English.
• License/Certification: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Work rights in Australia: Must be legally authorised to work in Australia.
• Other Requirements: Must be able to relocate before starting work.
