JOB DESCRIPTION

We're currently hiring FOH staff for Sydney's Northern Beaches restaurant Corretto Dee Why for an established hospitality group. We're now looking for a cafe supervisor that will lead our morning teams.

The venue is an all day eating & drinking venue, open from 7am daily through 'til 10pm. We are looking for someone who is creative, forward thinking and has a burning desire to go above and beyond what is expected from our guests. Your role will be to ensure consistency of product, lead the team, maintain cleanliness, hygiene and will support the management of the operation of the venue.

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated team player looking to take the next step in their hospitality career at a soon to be leading hospitality venue, with a dedicated hospitality group looking to grow.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

• The company currently operates three restaurants, a consulting company, a bottled drinks company and is looking to further grow.

• Established in 2018, the core group have been working on the projects collectively for the last 4-5 years with a continued focus on growth.

• All venues are located on the beaches, opportunity to move to new opportunities if there is a desire to do so.

THE ROLE + THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• Relevant diploma or equivalent experience required, with a minimum 2 years’ experience required in a similar position

• Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items

• Demonstrate ability to make coffees, understand guests needs & ability to manage a team of staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Can handle pressure and a fast paced environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Fluent English and well groomed

• Available to work a mix of shifts throughout the week with a morning focus

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
  • Work visa can be provided for this role
  • Expected start date for role: 01 February 2024
  • Expected salary: $60,000 - $67,500 per year
