Cafe Supervisor

We are currently looking for an energetic professional to help lead the day to day operations of the zoo's cafe and assist with gift shop and admissions when required. 

Duties:

• Responsible for overseeing and supervising staff in the absence of the Manager
• Overseeing the smooth operation of the cafe 
• Managing bookings
• Ensuring targeted sales expectations for the zoos products/services are met
• General administrative duties
• Responsible for daily takings and reconciliation reporting
• Ensuring food safety and OHS regulations are adhered to
• Assisting in training of new staff members
• Responsible for stock ordering and stock takes 

This role is very much hands-on and the successful applicant will spend most of their time working with their staff on the floor. The position will suit someone experienced working in a busy, fast-pasted establishment and has exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to train and supervise others.
