Cafe Supervisor

Cater Care Retail seeks to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Sunshine Coast Airport.  We currently operate 6 busy food and beverage outlets and are looking to increase our team. We pride ourselves on working with local suppliers to help bring that coastal feeling & scene of place to the Airport & are looking for a great team of people to help bring that feeling alive!

As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for staff supervision of the Swell Cafe located at the Sunshine Coast Airport and will take a hands-on approach working alongside the team.You will be confident in staff supervision & problem solving to ensure the best customer experience every time.

This role will suit the type of person who thrives on good old-fashioned customer service, who leads by example and can supervise and build a cohesive team. 

In this position, you will:

• Provide clear direction to a staff on shift working alongside the Outlet Manager & Duty Manager

• Build & create great relationships with staff & customers

• Ensure food & service standards are to a high quality

• Manage staff operations including filling shifts & labour management

• Opening & closing procedures including end of day banking

• Ensure policies and procedures are followed

• Communicate and work alongside the management team to ensure a great working environment

Your roster is prepared over 7 days with a mix of open and closing shifts including week days, weekends, nights and public holidays, however we aim to ensure you will have flexibility and balance.
