Calibre Music Management - Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

PART TIME SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING COORDINATOR
Role conducted in person at Calibre head office located in Fitzroy.
Period: February – July (minimum 6 months engagement)
Hours: minimum 2 days per week
We are looking for enthusiastic, curious, and proactive individuals to assist with the coordination of live music promotion and venue marketing activity.
You will get hands-on experience with every part of our business, including venue programming, ticketing, artist development and promotion. You will grow your understanding of show ticketing with our partners Oztix and Moshtix, as well as key promotional channels, paid media advertising, Social Media, email marketing, physical promotion, data and analytics and much more.
Your development will be supported by Nathan Farrell (Director), Adrian Leighton (Director of Programming) and Rose Muller (Marketing Manager) who have a combined 50 years of experience in live music and creative marketing.
You will have the chance to grow your professional network through our close relationships with record labels, promoters, ticket providers, artists, performers and venues.
Successful candidates will be provided with ongoing opportunities to extend their engagement beyond the initial term and continue to grow at Calibre.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will assist with all aspects of venue marketing, including:
Live music promotion
Developing Social Media content
Community management
Development of marketing collateral
Copywriting
Email marketing
Paid media advertising (Meta, Facebook, Instagram)
Building and managing audience data
Reports to: Rose Muller, Marketing Manager
