AddressAmicus Legal Recruitment is working with three highly respected Sydney CBD law firms as they search for experienced Family Law Legal Assistants to join their respective Family Law practice groups. Two of these firms have been ranked by Doyles Guide as "First Tier" Leading Family & Divorce Law firms in Australia in 2024.
Each firm focuses 100% on Private Client matters, at times representing very high-profile clients whereby your discretion and strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality is imperative. Depending on the firm you are interested in, each practice works across various matters including:
- Child abductions and Hague Convention matters;
- Complex financial agreements including tax-effective arrangements;
- Paternity/Parentage disputes;
- De Facto and same-sex relationships;
- Property Settlements and Protection of Assets; and
- Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Diary management and travel arrangements;
- Preparing and reviewing Court and Advice documents;
- Preparing Briefs for Counsel;
- Digital Dictation and the preparation of general client correspondence;
- E-filing court documentation;
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders;
- Monthly billing and database administration; and
- All other aspects of admin support as required.
