Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate or Associate with experience in Commercial and Civil Litigation to join the Outcome Legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience (PQE). This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent advocacy skills and a proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, insolvency litigation, debt recovery and other business-related conflicts.
• Manage Civil Litigation matters and building and construction litigation matters.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively protected and advanced.
• Conduct thorough legal research, prepare pleadings, motions, and other court documents, and represent clients in court and tribunal proceedings.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies, working closely with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor legal solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide comprehensive legal services, including advisory and transactional support.
• Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure clients receive the best possible advice and representation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, actively participating in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Admitted to practice law in New South Wales.
• Proven experience in handling complex litigation matters with a successful track record.
• Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
• Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments persuasively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
