The role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with various orthopaedic, neurological, and medical conditions. Previous experience in Rehabilitation is highly desirable, although new graduates may be considered.
Your primary duties will include:
- Conduct assessments and formulate, implement and review interventional plans for patients with functional difficulties, whether due to motor, sensory or cognitive impairments.
- Establish patient-centred goals, treatment plans and discharge plans in conjunction with the patient, team and significant others.
- Communicate effectively with the patient, team, and significant others and advocate for patients and their carers on relevant issues.
About you:
- Registered with AHPRA and a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Demonstrated current skill and knowledge in the assessment, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of Occupational Therapy plans for rehabilitation patients
- Ability to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Current Driver’s License
