The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.  We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service. 

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services / perinatal women.

The Opportunity

An Exciting opportunity exist within CAMHS to join us as an Administration officer

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform customer-focused front reception and telephone duties with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Record personal, sensitive, and confidential client information from phone or in-person interactions.
  • Coordinate venue bookings, travel arrangements, and accommodation, and prepare itineraries.
  • Aid in administrative tasks such as processing vehicle logs, travel, training, and study requests.
  • Manage resource ordering, monitoring, and reporting, including equipment and services.

Please note Incumbent may be required to work across multiple CAMHS sites.

About You

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, regarding sensitive issues.
  • Effective workload management, working autonomously to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills and positive contribution to workplace culture in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence and continuous service improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise a variety of computer software applications including MS Office Suite
  • Experience with providing administrative support.
  • An understanding of confidentiality and privacy.
