The FKG Group’s Accommodation Services division is currently seeking applications from a experienced Camp Attendant to join our team at our new camp located at Marlborough, north of Rockhampton.
Providing accommodation services to workers and contractors engaged for nearby construction works, our new 250 bed camp will operate a full commercial kitchen. Our Camp Attendant team are responsible for supporting the preparation/ service of breakfast, crib/ lunch and dinner, as well as room and facilities cleaning for all guests.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated team player with a passion for the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Positive can do attitude;Ability and willingness to work as part of a team and individually Prior experience is advantageous; High standards in food handling and preparation methods;High attention to detail;Strong time management skills;Availability to work a roster in a remote camp environment.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate previous experience working in a camp or large scale restaurant environment.
The successful candidate will ideally be local to the area and work 15 days on and 6 days off roster, however consideration may be given to a Monday to Friday roster for local applicants. Candidates will be required to undertake various pre-employment checks including a criminal history clearance and fitness for duty assessment.
