Role Type: Part-time, fixed term (0.2 FTE, until 31st December 2024)

Remuneration: $90,342.90 - $96,978.48 (FTE), super-inclusive

About The Role:

The Campus Operations Administrative Officer acts as the first point of contact in the day-to-day operations for Operations/Security and manages Purchase Ordering function for metropolitan and regional Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI) sites. This position manages the Technology One ordering for the Operations department as an Institute super user. Administration of the Institutes AMP Stronger TAFE funding including initiatives and allocation, purchase ordering, reporting to ensure funds are spent according to directives.

The position manages and coordinates the maintenance service requests and keying requests for BKI by utilising specialised software packages exclusive to the Operations department and provides comprehensive administrative support to the department.

  • Relevant degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in business, change and/or communications and experience, or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience in change management.
  • Highly developed communication/interpersonal skills with a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting stakeholder needs
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability, and capacity to devise, deliver and monitor practical solutions.
  • Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to set project plans and manage key milestones and deliverables.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, in particular Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to deliver tactical communications within a similar organisational environment.
