Canteen Assistant - Casual

We are seeking a Canteen Assistant - Casual for an immediate start in Term 2 at our growing school. This position is ideally for the following days and times:

Monday to Thursday between the hours of 7am - 130pm (which can be discussed at the interview).

• Sales and shop management experience.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with parents, students and school staff, suppliers etc.
• Cash handling experience.
• Purchasing/ordering experience.
• Canteen or similar experience.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Able to problem solve and be flexible.
• Excellent time management.

• Knowledge in food preparation.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Certificate in Food Safe and willingness to obtain.

You will also be required to provide, or be willing to obtain, a current working with children check.  The Working with Children Check is a compulsory screening strategy in WA schools.
