Our opportunity
As a Capital Works Program Manager you will act as the interface between the portfolio and asset managers and the externally appointed project manager and/or support to the facilities managers delivering Capital Works projects and ensures implementation of the correct controls required for the planning and delivery of Capital Works projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversees multiple inter-related and /or across portfolio projects
- Ensures alignment of program outputs with strategic objectives
- Drafting of initial business cases and obtaining business case approvals
- Obtaining funding approvals (this may include staged funding approval outlined in business cases)
- Detailed project scoping - and confirmation of alignment with business cases
- Consultant tendering and appointment
- Consultant reporting requirements, both as required by the PMO and Portfolio team
- PCG requirements, both as required by the PMO and Portfolio team
- Overseeing and ensuring adequacy of stakeholder engagement, communication and reporting
- Budget management
- Cashflow projections and management
- Process overview including internal Mirvac requirements and external requirements
- Monthly or other claims review and approvals
- Individual Program monitoring via management of the external project managers reports
Your point of difference
- To be successful you will at least 5 years' experience in Property, Engineering, Architectural Project or Program Management in commercial real estate within either a consultancy group or asset owner. Ideally with a Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Building, Construction or Architecture.
- Demonstrated project leadership skills with the ability to build and influence collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships.
- Greenstar or NABERS Accredited Professional with experience in management of external consultants and the implementation and negotiation of commercial contracts and service level agreements.
- Experience with MRI and/or Yardi is highly desirable.
- You will have a strong understanding of the Australian Standards, National Construction Code, ESG, HSE&S, DDA and other risk management regulations.
