What you'll be doing
- Oversee a Capital Works Project located in the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD).
- Ensure contractors and key stakeholders are informed of the specifications of the required infrastructure and systems relevant to the works to be undertaken.
- Ensure the project is completed in a safe manner and in line with forecasted budget and timeline and in line with contractual obligations of the relevant parties.
- Build and maintain relationships through comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communication planning.

How to applyTo be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
- Relevant Qualification in Project Management related to Building or Construction or demonstrated experience in the management of Capital Works Projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of Capital Works Project specifications, reports and project-related documentation.
- Highly developed communication skills including demonstrated negotiation and networking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources and schedule work accurately with the ability to respond to changing circumstances where necessary.
- Demonstrated excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills that assist with resolving urgent issues.
- Demonstrated experience of working with a comprehensive list of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to prioritize workload and delivery of tasks.
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel to the site and between FWLHD facilities which may include overnight stays.
