Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Planning: Outline project objectives, strategies, and scope based on thorough feasibility studies and market analysis to validate project viability.
- Permit & Approval Management: Oversee and streamline the permitting process, securing approvals, environmental assessments, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Ensure timely acquisition of all necessary permits.
- Financial Oversight: Formulate and oversee project budgets, tracking expenses diligently and pinpointing cost-saving opportunities. Closely monitor project finances, expenses, payments, and cash flow. Regularly update stakeholders on the project’s financial status.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges. Devise robust strategies for risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Procurement Management: Direct and manage the bidding and procurement process efficiently.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Deliver consistent progress reports to stakeholders, encompassing status updates, financial summaries, and risk evaluations.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in successfully managing upscale projects, including experience in both Class 1 and Class 2 constructions.
- Over 5 years of experience, preferably with a background in Project management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture.
- Solid Systems, processes, leadership and client relations management skills.
- Track record in longer term, projects value circa $20 million +
- Understand authority approval pathway and had past experience dealing with various key authorities for complex projects.
- Providing sound project knowledge and commercial awareness to clients and senior manager.
- Effective running of projects in a disruptive and highly governed environment with complex budgets.
- Managing and maintaining the design process to set standards and to meet the project charter.
- Superior organizational, communicative, and problem-solving process.
- Solid financial acumen, ensuring precise and effective budget management.
- Mandarin speaking skills are preferred.
The selected individual will be working closely with project related parties on-site and the management team within our company.
