The Capital Projects department is responsible for the delivery of Council’s major capital works, which include buildings and civil infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced manager to provide effective leadership, direction and coordination of the design disciplines and capital works delivery from conception through to operational handover. This will also include leading the development of technical and commercial aspects of the projects to achieve ‘best value’ and delivered within the EPMO framework.
Qualifications /Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Architecture and/or relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management and/or Engineering Design across infrastructure projects.
- Experience and/or detailed understanding of delivering projects within local or state government leading a diverse team.
- Previous experience in financial management as well as budget & contracts administration.
- Exceptional communication skills with proven track record in leading, engaging, motivating and influencing key internal and external stakeholders.
- Current Class C Driver Licence.
