About the role:
An opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced individual to join our Capital Works Team to deliver a range of Landscape and Sportsfield projects as identified in the Capital Works program. This role specialises in procurement and construction delivery of small to medium scale playground and reserve projects. Skills in project management will be crucial to deliver projects on time, budget and of quality that meets specified requirements and standards.
Duties Include:
• Program, manage and coordinate the delivery of construction projects.
• Prepare project specifications.
• Administer contracts and oversee the tendering and contract administration of projects.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and consultants.
• Identify project risks and mitigation strategies in accordance with WHS legislation
• Provide regular program updates for works program projects.
• Manage project finances including review and approval of invoice claims.
• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
About you:
To be considered for this role you will have:
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Project Management, Construction Project Management or similar.
2. An understanding of project management processes, tendering and procurement, WHS, security of payments, legislation, contract law and administration, Environmental Planning including relevant codes and regulations.
3. Proficient in computer applications such as MS Project & Excel and preferably drafting or rendering software.
4. Demonstrated financial, contract, project and time management skills
5. White Card - General Construction Induction
6. Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
Position Details:
Permanent full-time role, S0829 Salary Package starting from $100K per annum + Superannuation + Car Allowance. Salary will be based on qualifications, expertise, experience and knowledge.
