The Role:
The Aviation Capability Group is experiencing significant growth with the addition of 5 new King Air 360 & 2 brand new, first in country Gulfstream G280 Aircraft. Due to this growth, we are seeking experienced Jet Captains for our G280 aircraft to lead multi crew operations, domestically & internationally utilising instrument flight rules (IFR), for dignitary transport, organ retrieval, correctional, police & other government support tasks. Key Accountabilities
Your Key Accountabilities will include:
* Lead multi crew operations, domestically and internationally utilising instrument flight rules (IFR), for dignitary transport, organ retrieval, correctional, police and other government support tasks as directed by the Head of Flight Operations (HOFO).
* Maintain the safety & efficiency of all flight operations and uphold a high standard of crew coordination and cooperations in a multi crew environment.
* Maintain compliance & carry out all duties for flight and participate in training in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Act, its Regulations and Orders and the Organisation's Exposition.
* Maintain a contemporary working knowledge of international flight standard regulations & requirements.
* Maintain a high standard of crew coordination and cooperation in a multi crew environment as a Pilot in Command (PIC).
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders to deliver safe, timely & responsive frontline aviation services.
* Perform a range of nominated support duties which assist in the operations of the organisation.
Mandatory requirements:
Licence & Ratings
* Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
* Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
* Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 Renewals
Flight Hours Requirements
* Minimum 3000 hours total time
* Minimum 2000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
* Minimum 500 hours Night PIC
* Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC
* Minimum 500 hours Turbine PIC
Certification & Documentation
* Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
* Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
* Hold a current Australian Passport

Special Conditions
Prior to appointment, the successful applicant will be required to complete an initial psychological assessment to determine their suitability to perform the inherent occupational requirements of the role. In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing andparticipate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program. The preferred applicant will be required to undertake temporary touring duties at any base operated by the Aviation Capability Group. The preferred applicant must be available for rostered duty within one hour of notification of required flight. The successful applicant must comply with the organisations Drug and Alcohol Management Plan.
