About the role
Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a full time Car Park Manager to join our business and work for an extremely well-known client in our Macquarie Park location.
The Car Park Manager will manage all aspects of the Campus Car Park Operations, including overseeing a Car Wash managed by a contractor, manage Car Park attendant and be the central point of contact for Car Park related enquires providing great customer service at all times.
Key Tasks
- Managing and operating a comprehensive Car Parking system for all employees, contractors and visitors. (SkiData) Daily car space management and allocations, monitoring and fine-tuning occupancy by various categories and user groups, ensuring space maximisation and access is always maintained.
- Processing of parking applications in a timely manner and access card programming.
- Monitoring of all entry and exit points via CCTV and assist Car Park users as required.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of Car Park equipment, liaise with various service providers for repairs and maintenance
- Liaise with all levels of staff within the organisation in a professional manner, respond to intercom, emails and phone calls.
- Reporting and analytical skills, gather, analyse and collate parking data in presentable format at required service level agreements
- The successful applicant will be required to liaise with various internal stakeholder's and provide timely solutions for successful Car Park operations and car wash management.
- Provide a dynamic response toward requests and an ability to provide problem solving techniques across a broad range of parameters.
- Provide support in an event of an outage outside of normal business hours.
- Understanding and maintaining confidentiality of information is of the utmost importance, as is the ability to manage any security breach or negative workplace occurrence
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of three years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SkiData
- Strong understanding of the parking operations industry within a corporate environment
- Experience in leadership and management
- Excellent written and articulate oral communicative skills
- Excellent time management, punctuality and presentation
- Customer conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) desirable
- Fire Warden Training, desirable
