Cardiac Liaison Nurse – Lenah Valley, Hobart

- 12 months fixed term contract
About the role:
- Key position liaising with the cardio-thoracic surgeons and relevant hospital departments to coordinate the patients journey from surgery referral to post discharge from cardio-thoracic or thoracic surgery.
- Key working relationships with medical team cardiac centre administration, Nurse Unit Managers of the Day Of Surgery Area, Critical Care Unit, Theatre and Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgical ward
- Early identification and referral of patients with complex discharge needs
About you:
- Registration with AHPRA
- Clinical knowledge of cardiothoracic surgery
- High level of organisational skills
- Excellent communication
- Critical assessment skills
