12 months fixed term contract
About the role:
Key position liaising with the cardio-thoracic surgeons and relevant hospital departments to coordinate the patients journey from surgery referral to post discharge from cardio-thoracic or thoracic surgery.
Key working relationships with medical team cardiac centre administration, Nurse Unit Managers of the Day Of Surgery Area, Critical Care Unit, Theatre and Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgical ward
Early identification and referral of patients with complex discharge needs
About you:
Registration with AHPRA
Clinical knowledge of cardiothoracic surgery
High level of organisational skills
Excellent communication
Critical assessment skills
