We’re looking for qualified and enthusiastic candidates who excel at working in teams but can also work autonomously. Candidates must be safety minded with a passion for producing high quality work.

SeekingCardiologist for the period 

·         START: ASAP (0800)

·         FINISH: For a period of 6 weeks. Possibility of extension

Can be full time or part time – minimum booking period 2 weeks

Role will include cardiology inpatients and consults, morning ward rounds, cardiology outpatient clinics – afternoons. Supported by registrar and resident

Roster

Roster is Monday to Friday 0800-1630. Weekend shifts 0800-1200.On-call is required and will be approximately 1/4 weekdays. 

Confirmed roster will be provided to candidate. 

Documents to be supplied for candidate review:

1. Locum medical officers confirmed dates of availability
2. Current signed and dated CV.
3. Two references – no more than 12 months old and at least one from a current position
4. Certified copies of Drivers Licence and passport

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided for the term of the engagement. Toowoomba Hospital has self-contained, fully furnished (with linen) units. The agency will be advised if there is a vacancy for this period in these units.

Alternatively if there are no vacant units, the agency will be requested to source external accommodation and provide quotes for approval prior to booking.

Travel

Return economy travel to and from Toowoomba is provided. If locum is driving their own vehicle, mileage can be claimed for the return trip at 75c/km.

Medicare

It is mandatory for the locum to obtain a rebateable provider number prior to commencement.

Applications will remain current for 12 months, and the successful candidate may be considered for similar locum placements during this period.
