The Salvation Army, you will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and be responsible for the delivery of personal care and assistance to meet individual needs of our consumers. The role is to deliver homely and loving environments by providing care with compassion, respect, integrity and dignity. You will be able to work under limited supervision and in accordance with the resident's care plan to: Ensure the privacy and dignity of residents is maintained at all times and that all personal interactions reflect respect and compassion Assist in managing medication utilising medication compliance aids Recognise and respond to change in the condition of residents’ health & well-being Complete simple wound dressings
Implement continence programs Attend to routine checks, i.e. blood pressure, temperature, pulse, blood sugar
