About The Position
Join our diverse team as a Care Services Worker and embrace an exciting opportunity to work within our Villages. Working across our Retirement Villages in North Eastern Adelaide, this casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.
We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents.
Shifts will be rostered across Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am to 16:30pm – good availability across these times essential
Reporting to the Regional Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication prompting
- Where required, assisting with meal preparation
- Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
- Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
- Social Support and Shopping assistance
Essential Criteria As part of the application process, you will be required to provide a National Police Check, proof of right to work in Australia, participate in pre-employment assessment, verification of identification and qualifications. Additionally, you will have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
