- Salary $84,870 - $107,279 p.a. (pro rata) RN/MC2 | Multiple vacancies available - Variable Hours p/w up to full-time - Term until June 2025
Join the Virtual Care Service as a Clinical Nurse to expand your skills and support high quality care.
About the role:
As the Clinical Nurse, you will report to the Nurse Director of Operations in Virtual Care Services and be responsible for:
- Coordinating patient access to community delivered services as required supporting continuation of care, preventing unnecessary ED presentations.
- Required to maintain contemporary knowledge about safe clinical triage, hospital avoidance strategies and community alternatives for delivery of clinical care.
- Their own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
- The SA Virtual Care Services is located at Tonsley, and staff are required to work onsite.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
- Demonstrated competence in Acute and/or Out of Hospital/Hospital Avoidance Models of nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
