About the role
NovaCare is seeking experienced CASUAL Certificate III Care Support Workers and Domestic Assistance Care Workers to join our team.

We have CASUAL and PERMANENT shifts available in  Nelsons Bay, Morisset, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. If you’re reliable, motivated, and passionate about caring for older people, we would love to hear from you.

Duties may include:

• Transport: taking clients to social events and appointments 
• Personal care: showering and assisting with other personal grooming, dressing, toileting, and supervising the self-administration of medication.
• Social support: taking clients on outings to, the bank, a café or, out for a walk or shopping and meal preparation.
• Domestic Assistance: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, Making the bed, emptying garbage, washing dishes and laundry.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience as a Carer/AIN
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Aged Care 
• Experience in aged care, disability or community nursing experience is desired.
• The right to work in Australia.
• A current NSW driver’s licence and access to your own reliable car with comprehensive car insurance.
• National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain 
• Proof of Influenza and Covid 19 Vaccination including booster
