SalaryOne of the most rewarding things you can do in life is to provide assistance for those that need a hand. The Illawarra and Shoalhaven areas have many elderly people still living in their own homes that just need a bit of TLC. You would be providing assistance to keep these people safe and well. It is surprising what a difference you would make to someone just once a day to do the things they are just not able to safely do themselves.
Assist with showering, check medications are taken, make some breakfast, do some shopping, make a bed, vacuum a floor, clean the bathroom, hang some washing out, make a cup of tea and have a chat. That is making a difference and putting a smile on someone's face.
Drop the kids at school and be home in plenty of time to pick them up! Pick your days, we will be happy to work with your needs. 10 to 15 hours work per week is what most of our support staff like to do but we are happy with the hours you are available.
Morning, Afternoon and Weekend work is available.
If you have a Cert III in Individual Support or aged care/disability related field, Current Police Check (or will apply), 1st Aid Certificate, reliable car, mobile phone and a happy disposition, we would love to hear from you.
We also have positions available for those who just love to clean and do not have a Cert III but have or are willing to get a 1st Aid Cert.
We employ all our staff - No ABN needed. Generous hourly rate plus Super, plus travel allowance.
