Care Worker (Aged Care)
• Melbourne – North and West
• Personal care and assistance, companionship, in-home respite, escorted travel
• 10+ hours per week as casual, with an opportunity to transition to permanent employment
• $39.57 per hour + Allowances (incl travel between clients) + Super

As a Care Worker with SereneCare, you will:
Travel between clients’ homes to provide them with a variety of essential care services in accordance with their care plans. These services may include:
• Personal care (showering and assisting with other personal grooming)
• Light meal preparation
• In-home respite care
• Escorted travel (to and from appointments)
• Shopping assistance (with or without the client)
• Social activities and outings
• Companionship (within the community or home environment)
Provide feedback on the well-being of our clients and valuable input into their care plans.
Enjoy the flexibility to choose the hours you want to work during a typical working day (9.00 am–5.00 pm on weekdays).

SereneCare is looking for someone who has:
Essential
• The right to work in Australia
• One or more of the following:
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support
• Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care
• Certificate IV in Disability
• Successful completion of Bachelor of Nursing Year 1
• Successful completion of Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) Year 1
• A current Level 2 First Aid (including CPR) Certificate or willingness to complete
• A current National Police Check Certificate (valid within three months of commencement with SereneCare)
• A recent Australian Driver’s Licence and a registered, roadworthy vehicle with fully comprehensive car insurance
• Confidence and ability to drive safely in Melbourne traffic
• Proof of up-to-date COVID and flu vaccinations
• Smartphone
• A consistent and regular commitment to work, which is essential to our clients and us
Desirable
• Fluency in a second language other than English
