We believe the success of services is in having every employee treat every citizen with empathy, dignity, and respect.About the role:Our Employability Skills Training programs provide essential job finding skills to Australian Job seekers.As an Employability Skills Trainer & Facilitator, you will be delivering a targeted course designed to help a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds. Supported by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, the programs are key drivers in the Federal Government’s initiative to assist Australians whether they are looking to enter or re-enter the workforce or are looking at transitioning into a new career.As one of the largest providers of the program, Asuria Training delivers EST all over Australia. Your role as a Trainer & Facilitator is to ensure that our Participants are building on their employability skills and gaining the motivation and career guidance necessary to secure employment.About you:You are a passionate and dedicated classroom Trainer and Facilitator.You have experience as a Teacher, Trainer, Coach, or Mentor and enjoy supporting people to discover and develop a future career path.We are looking for Team Members who:Has a passion for assisting others with their career goalsHas a passion for teaching, training, or facilitatingHas a strength-based approachIs positive, motivational, with a can-do attitudeAble to demonstrate an ability to train and educate groups of adults learnersKey Responsibilities:Facilitate the delivery of training to small groups of adult learners using the provided course structure and materialsContextualizing and tailoring training to best suit the Participant’s learning needsAbility to manage basic IT equipment, systems, and platforms to assist the delivery of trainingAdhering and following to company policies, procedures, and processesLiaising and working with Head OfficeAssessing Participant competency levels and compiling feedback reports for ParticipantsSelection Criteria:Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and engage well with a diverse range of individuals and groupsExperience delivering training, whether it be as a teacher, coach, or mentorHave a Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check clearance (essential)TAE40116 is desirable but not essentialFlexible and willing to travel and undertake training blocks on a short noticeAbility to deliver training both Face to Face and OnlineIntermediate technology skillsUnderstanding of the local labour marketDepending on the role and region, the position will be on either a casual or permanent basis.
