Our client are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Career Consultant in Lismore, Casino & Kyogle NSW to provide customised employment assistance to customers by assisting them and enabling them to obtain sustainable employment.
Skills evaluation, creating resumes, job search training, interview preparation, coordinating work experience and mentoring, and offering assistance after placement.
New business - Building solid partnerships with local businesses by canvassing, engaging, and providing talent to local companies, and you will be integral in developing and building new business relationships.

Description

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting participants in obtaining sustainable employment and reverse marketing participants to employers
Building rapport and supporting participants to increase their capacity to obtain sustainable employment through training and other support services
Conducting post-placement follow-up with participants placed into employment
Assisting with the resolution of complaints as required.
Managing participant's files and record keeping
Identifying potential positions and suitable workplaces for our participants
Performing reception duties as required
Helping to ensure the smooth operation of the office
Profile
To be considered for this position we are looking for the following;
Proven experience working in a customer-focused position is essential
Previous experience working with sales is highly desirable
Solid IT skills, great attention to data, and administration skills are necessary
Excellent communication and the ability to build rapport and stay resilient during challenging conversations are key
Previous experience in employment services is NOT essential - if you have the right attitude, we can teach everything else!
