Job Description We are a couple with 2 young kids (one 5 month old son and one 3yo daughter). Father is returning to FT work, mother is FT carer. Your Duties The primary purpose of this role will be to provide care to our young newborn son and to support the parents as directed and where required. This may include changing, bathing/cleaning, feeding, playing/interacting and accompanying/supporting caregiving when on outings amongst other duties ensuring at all times that safety. This is currently a short term 3 month opportunity with a possibility of extension depending on circumstances. Our Perfect Caregiver We are looking for a responsible and reliable caregiver for our 5 month old son during the work day. Ideally the individual will have prior experience working with young kids such as early childhood education, swim instructor or prior babysitting experience and will be comfortable with dealing with newborns less than 1yo. The caregiver will need to be attentive and engaging whilst always ensuring that safety is adhered to at all times.
