The Role
To join a team consist of 3 x carer coordinators and 2 xcommunity coordinators. Role is based in Elizabeth and will be tosupporting unpaid carers in the Northern region.
As a 'Carer Partner' in the Community Connections Program (CCP),Centacare's Carer Support Program is committed to achieving andsustaining client and system level outcomes for Carers. The programwill achieve this and ensure quality of performance through:
- Outcomes and impact measurement on an ongoing basis.
- Guidance and management from the Community ConnectionsLeadership Team comprised of senior staff from Centacare.
- Ongoing feedback and evaluation mechanisms that will guideimprovements and changes to program delivery.
- Working closely and sharing data with and across RegionalCoordinating Partners
This is a fixed term opportunity until 31 June 2023 (asubsequent fixed-term period may be offered subject tofunding).

What you need to bring
- Certificate level qualification in a relevant field ordemonstrated equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, stakeholder andcommunity connections
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with ChildrenCheck (previously known as 'Child-Related Employment ScreeningClearance')
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to comply with Centacare Policy COVID-19 Vaccinationrequirements
- Ability to do some work outside of standard hours includingweekends and travel between offices when required
Desirable
- Experience working within the community services
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islandercommunities and CALD communities
