About the role:-

Our brand-new modern resort is currently underway in construction at Yamba Cove NSW and we are hiring an individual who is an experienced Lifestyle Resort Caretaker Managerto oversee our facility full-time.

As the onsite Manager you will overseas an operational team and together you will be responsible for ensuring the security and the excellent presentation of the resort is maintained along with managing the day-to-day operations including maintaining the property and faculties gardens and lawns, shared facilities onsite and general residency management. You will assist in sales tours from time to time and engaging in the community events.

Responsibilities:-

• Day to day front office administration, answering resident queries, purchase order requests, contractor management, staff management, rosters and training and conduct new resident inductions
• Ensure that the grounds, gardens, common areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard and are always well presented;
• Responsible for general maintenance of the facilities;
• Conduct monthly water meter reads;
• Maintain utilities register;
• Pool water testing;
• Conduct general maintenance on equipment and maintain asset register;
• Assist in kitchen for resident meal times (where applicable);
• Account keeping of purchase orders and expenditure requests;
• Provide exceptional & timely customer service and communication to internal & external stakeholders;
• Maintain Health & safety standards throughout the resort.

Ideally you will have:-

• Prior experience in a similar role - either caretaking, real estate or resort based roles will be looked upon favourably;
• Excellent computer/administration skills;
• Experience in regular mowing, whipper snipping and grounds work;
• Experience with resort grade cleaning and facilities management;
• Must hold a current C class licence;
• A hands on approach and enthusiastic attitude;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all stakeholders;
• Problem solving and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet tight deadlines and maintaining quality;
• A positive attitude.

Please note; included in the package is onsite living accommodation and electricity is provided as part of the salary package to the successful couple.
