- This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- The internal job title for this role is Carpenter Co-worker
- You will be available to work Full-time over a 10-day fortnight from 6:00am-2:00pm, with occasional public holidays and peak day coverage.
Team vision (text) As Carpenter Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market through securing high-quality carpentry and paintwork all throughout the store.
- Following work briefs to implement custom display solutions, including painting, tiling, floor laying, wall install and the building of complex furniture installations.
- Secure high quality, simple and cost-conscious results in the execution of work by using best practises and following routines.
- Assisting the Communication & Interior team with ad hoc tasks and to ensure the store is always in shape as new.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation of the carpentry workshop.

- A deep passion for quality, craftsmanship and home furnishings.
- A practical, hands-on mindset, where you show a strong willingness to get involved.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines while upholding quality.
- Confident and safety-conscious when performing tasks such as painting, drilling, furniture installation and heavy lifting.
- Ideally, prior experience in carpentry, particularly in a commercial business context.
