About the role
The Case Coordinator will play a vital role in providing intensive, in-home support to children, young people, and families, especially Aboriginal families, while ensuring culturally secure services and positive community outcomes. The role is offered on Maximum term (12 months) Full-time contract.
A Few Specifics
- Carry out planning, research, and policy formulation for projects
- Develop and implement educational and developmental programs for clients
- Supervise team members and volunteers as required
- Provide expert advice and set outcomes for Level 4 staff
- Actively support clients' engagement and advocate for their needs with external agencies
Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling, or related fields
- Experience in collaborative work with other organizations and providing in-home support, especially to Aboriginal families
- Strong therapeutic knowledge and culturally secure service provision skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a multiagency, multidisciplinary team
- Core hours of 9am-5pm, with an ability to be available between 7am and 8pm on occasion to support client needs.
