As a Case Manager, Court Link you will be responsible for the assessment and case management of participants with complex needs on the program including the provision of brief interventions to address issues related to offending behaviour. You will also be responsible for making community referrals for those participants who are not recommended for case management. The role will also coordinate and negotiate the delivery of a range of services requiring the maintenance of strong linkages with the community services support sector and will provide information to the courts regarding the assessment, intervention, and engagement of people with Court Link that may assist in bail and sentencing decisions.Job details Position status Fixed Term Temporary

- Provide information and advice to court users and stakeholders about all programs and supports available through Courts Innovation Program.
- Manage a case load of participants with complex and multiple needs in line with program and organisational standards.
- Assess the risk and needs of participants and develop case management plans, including intervention strategies to ensure participants engage with appropriate support and treatment services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including government and non-government organisations to initiate, negotiate and facilitate linkages and access for participants to a range of appropriate services in line with program requirements.
- Apply high level professional practice, judgment and decision making to manage a caseload, ensuring that defendant activities are consistent with evidence- based practice.
- Provide verbal and written advice, including the preparation of accurate progress and final reports in a timely manner to the court to assist with bail and sentencing decisions.
- Provide court advisory services to inform the court of regarding participant involvement, progress, and outcomes on the program.
- Liaise, consult, and negotiate with the judiciary, legal profession, and court staff in relation to the management of participants within the program and provide advice regarding the availability of appropriate services and programs.
- Make decisions about the appropriateness of brokerage funding expenditure and appropriate use of resources for participants.
- Conduct peer reviews and verifications of assessments and other case planning activities to ensure quality assurance and consistency.
- Maintain accurate records in a computerised database to support program delivery and effective monitoring.
