Base salary $88k pa + Super and Salary Packaging

The Opportunity
This position is responsible for providing statutory case management services for children and young people residing in Kinship Care. The role aims to assist Kinship Carers provide the best possible care arrangements for children and young people whilst ensuring their on-going safety and developmental well-being.
The Case Manager - Kinship Care will have a demonstrated ability to effectively engage with children, young people and their kinship families and demonstrate understanding of the issues that can impact Kinship Care placements.
Key Responsibilities
To provide case management services to children and young people in statutory Kinship Care placements.
Manage multiple caseloads of children and young people living in Kinship Care arrangements.
To enhance and build on the available formal and informal family and community supports for children and young people living in kinship arrangements.
To assist families, provide the best possible care arrangements for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth parents.
About You
You will have demonstrated ability to effectively engage with children, young people and their kinship families and demonstrate understanding of the inter-generational factors and complex relationships between extended family members that can impact kinship placements.
Experience working with children, young people and families through an attachment and trauma-based lens is essential.
This role requires an appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline.
